ABC
Canada Literacy Foundation: ABC CANADA Literacy Foundation is
a national, registered charitable organization committed to
promoting literacy to the general public and to the private
sector.

Alberta Magazine Publishers Association (AMPA): It may
surprise you to know that over 90 magazines are published in the
province of Alberta. Some of these you may read on a regular basis
and not even be aware of their local origin. Others you may have
never heard of until now, but wished you had.

BC Association of Magazine Publishers (BCAMP): Whether you
look to BC magazines for art and culture, news and business,
lifestyle or leisure, or other areas of interest, BC magazines
represent the diversity of West Coast perspectives.

Canadian
Society of Magazine Editors (CSME): CSME is a volunteer-driven
organization that meets periodically to discuss issues relevant to
the craft of magazine editing. It also holds an annual dinner and
awards presentation, honouring the top magazines in three
circulation categories.

Magazines Canada
represents a diverse and vital group of more than 300 Canadian
consumer magazines – titles both large and small – devoted to
covering a wide range of subjects of interest to the Canadian
reading public.

Canadian Copyright Licensing Agency (CANCOPY) : Under Canada's
copyright law, creators and publishers have the right to decide
when and how their work is reproduced, whether it's being copied
with a photocopier, electronically or through other means. CANCOPY
licences provide users with convenient and easy to obtain legal
permission to copy, while fairly compensating copyright owners for
that copying.

Management Association of Canada (CMC): Canada began in 1981
as a non-profit organization formed to provide professional
development, promote fellowship within the circulation profession,
and to raise the profile of circulation professionals by rewarding
outstanding achievement.

Publishers Exchange (PPE): For 25 years small to medium size
Toronto area independent magazine owners have been getting
together every month for dinner, to share their thoughts and views
through discussion, to seek advice from experienced publishers,
and to keep on top of trends and innovations affecting the
publishing industry.
