This morning, the Department of Canadian Heritage released information related to a proposed redesign of the Publications Assistance Program (PAP) and the Canada Magazine Fund (CMF). The Department has reviewed the programs internally and will begin consultations on its recommendations at roundtable meetings across the country with invited industry representatives. In addition, the Department will accept written comments by individuals or organizations. The timeframe for the consulting process begins immediately and will end on April 25, 2008.
